Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Total refund less transaction fees
Processing Time: 5-7 business days
Processing Fee: €50 for credit card payments
Conditions: Must be made via written request through email or phone
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half of the overall cost of the charter
Processing Time: 7-10 business days
Processing Fee: €25 subtracted from the refund
Conditions: Credible reasoning necessary; subject to administrative expenses
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Refund is not available
Exception: Exceptions for urgent scenarios may be taken into account
Alternative: Credit for future charters might be offered at the discretion of the management
Conditions: Proof required for emergency claims
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Weather Guarantee
Ensuring safety is our main concern. In the event that our certified captain determines that weather conditions make charter operations unsafe, we provide several flexible alternatives:
- Full Refund: If it's not feasible to reschedule, a 100% refund will be made available
- Reschedule: We'll arrange your charter for the soonest possible date without any extra charges
- Charter Credit: Opt for a credit that's good for one year from the date of your original charter
Weather Assessment Process
We conduct a comprehensive weather assessment that covers:
- Analyzing wind speed and direction
- Evaluating wave height and conditions at sea
- Forecasting visibility and potential precipitation
- Checking Coast Guard advisories and alerts
- Taking into account the certified captain's evaluation of safety
Decision Timeline: Decisions to cancel due to weather are finalized no later than 4 hours ahead of the planned departure time.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Emergency Circumstances
We acknowledge that unexpected medical emergencies can happen. Circumstances that might be eligible for special considerations include:
- Emergency hospitalization due to sudden illness or injury
- Passing of an immediate family member
- Urgent military deployment or recall
- Requirement to appear for jury duty or a court subpoena
- Natural disasters affecting one's ability to travel
Documentation Requirements
To request a refund due to an emergency, the following documents are required:
- A medical certificate or documentation from a hospital
- A death certificate, where applicable
- Official orders from the military
- Summons for court or notice of jury duty
- Advisories for travel or declarations of an emergency
Processing: We process refunds for emergencies within 3-5 working days upon the submission of the necessary documentation.
Cancellation Due to Operations
Technical Malfunctions
Should there be unresolvable technical faults with your designated ship:
- Substitute Ship: Efforts will be made to supply a similar substitute.
- Complete Reimbursement: Granted if no appropriate substitute is found.
- Partial Reimbursement: Granted if the substitute ship carries a different fare.
- Recompense: Additional consideration may be proposed for the trouble caused.
Lack of Crew
On uncommon instances where there is a shortage of qualified crew:
- Replacement crew will be sourced if feasible.
- Complete refund if the charter is unable to go ahead.
- Options to reschedule without extra charges.
Refund Issuance
Reimbursement Mode
Returned funds will be issued through the payment method originally used to make the booking:
- Credit Cards: Reflected within a period of 5-7 business days.
- Bank Transfers: Reflected within a period of 7-10 business days.
- Cash/Cheque: Reflected within a period of 3-5 business days.
Cancellation Charges
Credit Card Transactions
€50 charge for cancellations done more than 72 hours in advance.
Reimbursements via Bank Transfer
€25 charge applicable to all bank transfer repayments.
Foreign Operations
Extra charges may be levied for cross-border transactions.
Charter Credit Policies
Instances When Credits Are Given
Credits for future charters might be given instead of repayment under certain conditions:
- For last-minute cancellations (under 24 hours notice).
- If cancellations are due to adverse weather conditions.
- For customer-initiated rescheduling.
- When there are disruptions in operations.
Conditions for Credits
- Validity: 12 months from the issuance date.
- Transferability: Credits cannot be shifted to other individuals.
- Value: Equivalent to the full value of the charter without deduction for processing fees.
- Application: Credits may be used for any available charter excursions.
- Expiration: Credits must be used within 12 months with no extensions.
Partial Service Refunds
Service Interruptions
In the event that your rental is disrupted or cut short due to issues under our control:
- Partial refund corresponding to the time not used
- Voucher for a future rental of the same value
- Complimentary extras or enhancements
Guest-Related Interruptions
Should the rental be concluded prematurely due to actions by the guest or breaches of safety guidelines:
- No reimbursement for the period not utilized
- Total cost is still payable
- Potential for additional fees
Dispute Resolution
In case of disagreement with a decision on refunds, you are entitled to:
- Ask for an evaluation by our administrative team
- Submit further evidence or documentation
- Look for settlement through consumer rights organizations
- Consider legal action in line with the law
